Habiba Nowrose is a lens based Artist interested in women’s rights issues, gender identity and mythology. She has been practicing studio based staged Photography since 2014. Her practice moves between the process of crafts making, assembling and photographing simultaneously. She is often inclined to make portraits as it allows the space for many different interpretation. Often her portraits are made after elaborate preparation. In her artistic process she carefully takes mental note of the objects, colors, patterns and locations that attracts her repeatedly. These elements play a fundamental role in her image making process.
